OVERVIEW

Upskill your project management abilities.

Gain new skills and a greater understanding of project management principles. Study the Graduate Diploma of Project Management online and you will learn to manage resources, identify and manage risk. You will also learn how to bring analysis and strategy to your project work in a broad range of industries.

This qualification teaches you how to manage project teams, to optimise available resources and manage change. It brings new understanding to managing budgets and decodes organisational behaviour. You will develop your problem-solving skills and learn how to design and communicate innovative solutions to different audiences.

Course work includes techniques for creating and communicating professional project plans and dealing with complex business problems. It also covers supporting organisational change and responding to ethical issues.

Our Graduate Diploma of Project Management (GD-PM) comprises 100 credit points of the AIPM-endorsed Master of Project Management. The following four core units are recognised for automatic recognition towards the Certified Practicing Project Practitioner certification:

  • PRM60002 Project Management for Innovative Outcomes
  • PRM70002 Leading Complex Projects
  • PRM80002 Project Governance and Resource Management

Your course breakdown:

To be awarded the Graduate Diploma in Project Management you must complete 8 units in total made up of:

  • 6 Core Unit
  • 2 Elective Units

Each year is split into 3 Teaching Periods (14 weeks per Teaching Period). You can choose to study full-time or part-time depending on your preference.

Entry Requirements

Entry Criteria

To gain entry into this course, applicants must have one of the following:

    • A recognised bachelor degree in a related discipline; or
    • A recognised bachelor degree in any discipline PLUS a minimum of two years equivalent full-time relevant professional experience; or
    • A Graduate Certificate of Project Management.
